PARKER LAKE

One mile south of Parker to 2000 Rd., turn west, first right after the railroad tracks.

Parker Lake is a fifteen-acre fishing lake nestled in the trees off a gravel road. There is a shelter house, picnic tables, and a restroom available. State fish and game regulations are enforced. Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks regularly restocks the lake with game fish.

Camping is allowed at the lake for up to fourteen days.  Camping applications can be made at City Hall.  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.  For a complete list of rules, please look at the Rules and Regulations Form.

Swimming is allowed at the City Lake, but swimmers do so at their own risk as there is not a lifeguard provided per City Ordinance 443.
